Forgiveness: If Trees Could Walk
May 13th, 2012 How does it feel to be thought of as a walking tree- not the greatest of analogies don’t you think? Let’s examine what that might look like? Trees are a wonderful gift to mankind. They come in a range of shapes, sizes, colours and textures. According to the World Resources Institute there are approximately 100,000 known species of tree in the world. Some are evergreen: providing colour and beauty all year round; whilst others are deciduous furnishing us with autumnal shades of reds, gold, ochre and russet that speak loudly of change that winter brings. Men and trees are very different- let us not forget that. We have the breath of life contained within us and we are precious living souls made in the image of God.
